Valentine Antique Gallery - Erickson

Erickson Glass was started by Carl Erickson in Bremen, Ohio in 1943 and continued until 1961. He learned glassmaking at Pairpoint Manufacturing Company then went on to work for Libbey Glass and Blenko Glass. In 1943, Carl and his brother, Stephen, purchased a factory in Bremen, Ohio and started the company. Erickson glass is noted for the its controlled bubble design. It is believed that Carl Erickson personally designed most of the pieces manufactured by the company.
